Summary: This is part two of a full-length recording of one of Bhāvani Maki’s classes in the Yoga Sūtra Mentorship Program and Sūtra Wisdom School. From the second book, Sādhana Pāda, of the Yoga Sūtra of Patañjali, this teaching gives us a step by step process to observe our hooks and how to eventually take the leap out of our problem addiction and reminds us, “Don't gorge on poisoned honey.” The Yogi-in-training embraces pain as the force of evolution and as an opportunity to look closer. YS II.16 Heyaṁ duḥkham anāgatam: The avoidable pain that is yet to come, can be and should be avoided. Divyadṛṣṭi: Personal Insight Questions: What is the pain body you inherited? How have you explored Amor Fati? In what areas of your life do you try to avoid pain? What areas do you face into it? life, body, mind How do you respond when you are at the threshold? Have you felt pain without suffering?
